The Canadian province is allocating $5 million to install 16 new DC fast charging stations with 29 ports across its eCharge network, targeting underserved areas and high volume sites with speeds of 100 to 400 kilowatts. A further $955,000 will fund additional electric vehicles for the provincial fleet, while $100,000 will deploy eight Level 2 chargers across three provincial parks. The eCharge network currently operates 70 DC fast charging ports and 143 Level 2 ports.
