RoadGrid India has received ₹13 crore in financial assistance from the Technology Development Board under India's Department of Science and Technology, forming part of a ₹27.5 crore project to commercialise its patented Universal EV Charger. The new manufacturing and assembly facility is expected to begin commercial production by March 2027 with an annual capacity of 2,000 units, creating more than 100 direct jobs. The Universal EV Charger is a 140 kW dual DC system supporting CCS2 and Type 6 connectors plus AC charging, designed as a single platform for two wheelers, three wheelers, passenger vehicles and commercial EVs.
