Octopus Electroverse launches Plunge Pricing in France with Powerdot, offering up to 50% charging discounts
Octopus Electroverse is extending its Plunge Pricing scheme to France through a partnership with CPO Powerdot, offering drivers using the Electroverse app discounts of up to 50% when wholesale electricity prices are low. The move follows a supply deal in which Octopus Energy's French retail arm will provide Powerdot's network with energy from Octopus Group renewable assets. In the UK, where Plunge Pricing launched in 2024, the scheme has saved drivers just under £100,000.
