Allego migrates 35,000 charge points across 16 European countries to AMPECO platform

European charging provider Allego has selected AMPECO as its new charge point management system, migrating a network of 35,000 charge points across 16 countries, 60 roaming connections and over 200,000 registered drivers. Announced in July 2026, the move gives Allego a hardware agnostic, API first platform with built in fault detection through AMPECO's CoOperator operations agent. Allego cited the platform's maturity, proven track record with large network migrations and speed of capability delivery as key selection factors.

Why it matters

The deal signals a major consolidation in European charging software, with one of the continent's largest networks switching to a single management platform that promises real time diagnostics and operational efficiency at scale. For procurement teams and CPOs, it highlights the growing importance of flexible, API driven systems that can integrate legacy infrastructure while supporting rapid network expansion.
