Rollout pace

InstaVolt has announced that electric vehicle drivers in the Cotswolds will always be within 30 miles of one of its ultra-rapid charging stations. The UK charging network operator has highlighted three key locations serving the region to support summer visitors. All InstaVolt sites offer pay-as-you-go charging via contactless card, the free InstaVolt app, or RFID card.

Why it matters: The 30 mile coverage commitment demonstrates how charge point operators are positioning rural and tourist destinations as viable EV corridors, a key consideration for site hosts and local authorities planning charging infrastructure in high footfall leisure areas.
