RAW Charging opens 32-point hub at RHS Garden Wisley with free charging week
RAW Charging has launched a 32-point EV charging hub at RHS Garden Wisley near M25 Junction 10, comprising eight 50 kW chargers and 24 22 kW chargers. The operator is offering free charging from 24 to 28 August through its RAW Rewards programme to mark the opening. Slough launches cross-pavement EV charging trial with £130,000 government grant

The scheme will install 20 Kerbo Charge cable gullies, with residents paying £399 towards installation costs, potentially saving them around £4,000 per year compared to public charging. The Kerbo Charge system is the only approved method for running a charging cable across a public footway in the UK.

UK government launches consultation to soften EV sales mandate after industry pressure

Current rules require EVs to account for 33% of new car sales in 2026, 80% in 2030 and 100% by 2035, but EV market share is expected to reach only 27.4% by year end.
