Blink launches EnergyConnect energy management system to optimise charging site power use

Blink Charging has introduced EnergyConnect, an energy management system that allocates power across multiple charging sites in real time to maximise capacity without upgrading electrical infrastructure. The platform will initially roll out at 13 Blink owned DC fast charging sites in Florida before expanding to other US, UK and Belgian locations, with future features including utility integration, demand response and battery storage support. Blink's CEO stated the system could save the company and its customers thousands of dollars on electricity costs.
