BMW iX4 electric coupe SUV spotted testing at Nürburgring ahead of 2027 US launch

BMW is developing the iX4, an all electric coupe SUV built on its Neue Klasse platform, following the iX3 and i3 sedan unveiled in 2026. The vehicle, intended to replace the combustion engine X4, was photographed during testing at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany by spotter @Wilcoblok. BMW will launch the iX4 as a 2027 model year vehicle in the US market with two all wheel drive variants, the 40 xDrive and 50 xDrive.
