BP sells 250 Austrian fuel stations and EV charging network to Swiss firm Volenergy

BP has agreed to sell its entire Austrian retail network of 250 fuel stations, associated EV charging infrastructure and fleet business to Swiss energy company Volenergy, with completion expected by the end of 2026 pending regulatory approval. The number of charging points included in the transaction has not been disclosed. The divestment follows BP's similar exit from the Netherlands, where Catom acquired its fuel and charging operations.
