California clean truck and bus incentive programme passes $1 billion in funding

The California Air Resources Board announced that its Clean Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project has delivered more than $1 billion in funding to California fleets, supporting over 2,000 fleets and enabling deployment of 11,600 clean vehicles that have accumulated 181 million miles statewide. The programme, administered by CALSTART on behalf of CARB, focuses on medium and heavy duty trucks and buses, reducing emissions and improving air quality in communities most affected by freight and transportation pollution.
