The African Infrastructure Investment Managers outlined its African Transition Acceleration Fund during an African Solar Industry Association webinar on 1 April, emphasising that early-stage energy transition capital flows to markets with policy clarity and bankable business models. Investment Manager Zoe Pierre said projects must demonstrate predictable revenue and scalability, noting that Kenya and Rwanda are attracting investment through integrated EV ecosystems, while South Africa's fragmented infrastructure rollout may limit its ability to meet investor criteria.
