CATL deploys over 200 battery swap stations per month, reaching 2,000 sites in 18 months

Chinese battery manufacturer CATL has deployed 2,000 operational battery swap stations under its Choco SEB network as of 30 June 2026, up from approximately 700 in October 2025 and zero at the start of 2025. The rollout pace exceeds 200 new stations per month throughout 2026. CATL targets 3,000 stations across mainland China and Hong Kong by end 2026, though current velocity could deliver over 4,000 sites globally.
