Comemso ports ISO 15118 charging station test libraries to its comframe platform

German test equipment maker comemso has migrated its ISO 15118-4 and ISO 15118-5 test libraries to comframe, its proprietary software platform, allowing developers to configure, run and evaluate standardised communication tests for AC and DC charging stations directly within the system. The libraries, which cover conformance tests for network, application protocol, physical and data link layers, were previously validated through the Charging Interface Initiative (CharIN). Comemso verified the port by running test cases on two charging stations using both comframe and the previous platform and comparing results.
Why it matters: Procurement teams and CPOs commissioning or inspecting charging infrastructure can now access validated ISO 15118 conformance testing through a single integrated platform, potentially streamlining quality assurance and interoperability verification during station deployment and field inspection.
