Delhi crosses 10,000 EV charging points as BSES discoms add over 1,600 in single year

Delhi's EV charging infrastructure has surpassed 10,000 total charging points, with more than 3,000 added in recent months, according to the city's Power minister. BSES distribution companies installed over 1,600 charging points and battery swapping stations across 1,241 locations in 2025 to 2026, the highest annual deployment to date. BSES discoms BRPL and BYPL now operate over 6,500 charging points and swapping stations across more than 3,400 sites in South, West, East and Central Delhi.
