Easelink partners with SEG Automotive to industrialise Matrix automated charging system
By Eve
Easelink has signed a partnership with global automotive supplier SEG Automotive to advance the industrialisation and market launch of its Matrix Charging automated conductive system for EVs. The two companies will collaborate on initial OEM series production projects, and SEG Automotive will add Matrix Charging to its product portfolio while joining the Matrix Charging Interest Group to support standardisation. The technology is designed to support commercial fleet applications, autonomous mobility, and vehicle to grid integration.
Why it matters: The partnership signals a move from prototype to volume production for automated charging infrastructure, with an established Tier 1 supplier now positioned to offer the technology to OEMs. Standardisation through the MCIG could create procurement opportunities for depot and fleet operators seeking interoperable automated charging solutions.
