Einride partners with Texas toll operator to test autonomous freight and high-capacity charging on 41-mile corridor

Einride has signed a memorandum of understanding with SH 130 Concession Company to use the SH 130 toll road, which connects Austin and San Antonio, as a testbed for cab-less autonomous freight vehicles. The collaboration covers safety validation on Segments 5 and 6 of the 41-mile route and includes plans for a next-generation rest stop with high-capacity electric vehicle charging and specialised docking infrastructure. Einride currently operates one of the world's largest electric heavy-duty fleets, with autonomous trucks in daily commercial operation in the US, Europe and the Middle East.
