Archer, BETA and Macquarie plan 250-site eVTOL charging network across US by 2030

Archer Aviation, BETA Technologies and Macquarie Capital have formed America's Consortium for Electric Skyways (ACES) to build up to 250 charging sites for electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft at US airports and vertiports by 2030. Early deployment will target California, Texas, Florida and New York, with all sites using the Combined Charging Standard (CCS) open protocol to allow shared use by multiple aircraft manufacturers and operators, including cargo and passenger services.
