eliso wins contract to deploy 25 electric truck charging stations in Germany

By Eve

VINCI Concessions subsidiary eliso has been awarded a German government contract to install and operate 25 charging stations for heavy vehicles in northern Germany, covering up to 180 charge points along principal transport routes over an eight year term. Each site will feature between 3 and 36 charging points with a total power rating of up to 1 MW. eliso previously won a 2023 contract to build and operate 800 fast charge points at 100 stations across northern, eastern and central Germany under the Deutschlandnetz programme.

Why it matters: The award extends eliso's heavy duty charging footprint in Germany and signals continued public procurement for truck electrification infrastructure. CPOs and equipment suppliers targeting the commercial vehicle segment will note the site scale variation and megawatt power requirements in tender specifications.
