Connected Kerb acquires Trojan Energy out of administration after funding shortfall

Urban EV Infrastructure Limited, a Connected Kerb subsidiary, has acquired Aberdeen based Trojan Energy out of administration. Trojan Energy, founded in 2016, had installed approximately 1,500 flush to pavement charging points by 2026, largely in London, but failed to secure funding for expansion. The company reported turnover of around £3.8 million and operating losses of £4.3 million for the year to 31 December 2024, with net liabilities totalling nearly £4.1 million at that time.
