EVgo and Kroger commit to 150 fast charging stalls per year through 2035
By Eve
EVgo has expanded its partnership with Kroger Family of Stores to install at least 150 fast charging stalls annually up to 2035 at Kroger locations across the United States. The first site under the expanded programme is operational in Salt Lake City, with further rollouts planned in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Texas and Washington. Each site will feature high power chargers capable of delivering a full charge in around 15 minutes, targeting shoppers whose typical visits last under an hour.
Why it matters: The commitment to 150 stalls per year provides a predictable pipeline for equipment suppliers and installers through 2035. Grocery retail sites offer high dwell time and repeat footfall, making them attractive anchor tenants for CPOs seeking reliable utilisation.
