Most existing charging stations are concentrated in coastal and tourist areas, leaving central Florida underserved and causing long queues at the limited public chargers in Southern Florida. The Trump administration has also halted a $4.7 million project that would have added charging stations to the Miami area, according to the Miami Herald.
