Florida public agencies can buy EV charging hardware through Verdek's cooperative purchasing program

By Eve

Verdek has renewed its contract under the Florida Sheriffs Association Cooperative Purchasing Program (FSA26-PWR5.0), allowing Florida state and local agencies, municipalities and school districts to procure EV charging equipment without separate RFPs. The product lineup includes Level 2 chargers from Autel and ChargePoint, DC fast chargers from ABB, Autel, ChargePoint, Samsung, Tesla and Tritium, portable charging from Charge Rigs and Lincoln Electric, and ampUp management software, with the Tesla V4 Supercharger now added to the available options.

Why it matters: The cooperative purchasing framework streamlines procurement for Florida public bodies by offering pre-qualified vendors and standardised hardware choices, reducing administrative burden and accelerating deployment timelines. The inclusion of Tesla V4 Superchargers expands fast charging options for agencies planning fleet electrification or public infrastructure projects.
