Grab plans fifteenfold expansion of Vietnam EV charging network to over 6,000 ports by 2028

Singapore based ride-hailing group Grab will expand its EV charging network in Vietnam from approximately 400 ports today to more than 6,000 by 2028, according to an announcement reported by Nikkei Asia. The expansion aims to provide a brand neutral charging alternative to VinFast's proprietary infrastructure as Vietnam accelerates its transition to electric transport, with Grab working through local partners including Eboost.
