Hyundai opens access to over 30,000 EV charging points across India through single app

Hyundai Motor India Limited has expanded its myHyundai mobile application to provide access to more than 30,000 EV charging points across India, available to all EV brands. The aggregated network, built through partnerships with multiple charge point operators, offers charging within an average 25 kilometre radius and covers key intercity highway routes. Hyundai also operates 183 DC fast charging stations (60 kW to 240 kW) across 105 cities, all open to any manufacturer's vehicles.
Why it matters: The aggregation model demonstrates how OEMs can drive interoperability and reduce app fragmentation for EV drivers, potentially influencing procurement strategies for fleets and public networks. Coverage of intercity corridors and open access to Hyundai's own 183 fast chargers signals growing infrastructure maturity in a major emerging EV market.
