Fresh Bus adds 400 electric buses to ChargeZone network across four Indian states

Indian intercity bus operator Fresh Bus will add 400 electric buses to ChargeZone's charging network over the next 15 months, expanding from 100 buses already served. The rollout will connect 20 cities and 17 additional towns across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. ChargeZone will deploy 30 MW of new charging capacity for the fleet, adding to 10 MW already in place, as part of a wider 200 MW national expansion.

Why it matters: The deal demonstrates commercial fleet charging at scale in India, where ChargeZone operates over 15,000 points across 1,200 sites. Intercity bus electrification creates predictable, high utilisation demand that can anchor charging infrastructure investment in regional corridors.
