Mitsubishi partners with Foxconn's Foxtron for Australian EV hatchback launch in second half 2025

Mitsubishi will launch an electric hatchback in Australia in the second half of 2025, built by Foxtron, the automotive division of Foxconn. The vehicle is expected to be based on the Bria platform, which offers a rear-wheel drive variant with 220 hp and an all-wheel drive version with 400 hp, both using a 57.5 kWh battery with 517 km NEDC range and 134 kW charging capability that replenishes 10% to 80% in 30 minutes. Mitsubishi will apply its own exterior styling to differentiate the model from the Bria donor platform.
