Easee and EVX to install over 90 chargers at 13 Buckinghamshire schools under Government scheme
By Eve
Easee and EVX Charging Solutions will install more than 90 electric vehicle chargers across 13 schools in the Oxford Diocesan Bucks Schools Trust in Buckinghamshire. The project is funded by the Government's Workplace Charging Scheme for state-funded educational institutions and a private sustainability fund. Chiltern Hills Academy has already received 16 Easee chargers to support staff, visitors and an incoming electric minibus, with the switch expected to save 7,000kg of CO2 annually.
Why it matters: The rollout demonstrates how public sector education sites are using Government workplace charging grants to deploy multi-unit installations, creating a procurement model that combines state funding with private sustainability capital. For charge point operators and installers, school estates represent a growing segment where fleet electrification and staff charging converge at scale.
