EV Realty opens 76-port truck-charging hub in California's Inland Empire
By Eve
EV Realty has launched its flagship heavy-duty charging site near San Bernardino, California, with 76 high-power ports capable of serving over 200 medium and heavy-duty trucks daily. The hub, located close to the San Bernardino Intermodal Facility and Interstates 10 and 215, serves an area with approximately 17,000 medium and heavy-duty trucks and already counts J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Gate City Beverage and Nevoya among its customers. The site offers both CCS and MCS charging ports to accommodate all truck makes and models.
Why it matters: The facility demonstrates commercial-scale deployment of heavy-duty charging infrastructure in a critical freight corridor linking the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, signalling growing demand for multi-fleet depot charging solutions. The mix of CCS and MCS standards and the presence of major logistics customers indicate the site is designed for long-term fleet electrification beyond pilot programmes.
