Peterborough approves revised 10-bay EV charging hub at former car wash site

Peterborough City Council has granted final planning permission for a 10-bay EV charging hub at Parkway Sports and Social Club, replacing a hand car wash. Moreco Investments Ltd secured approval in August after resubmitting plans in June with design changes including revised layout, updated charging equipment specifications, a new power cabinet, and removal of inter-bay landscaping and canopies. The site will feature five charging units serving 10 bays, including two PAS-compliant accessible bays, with 24/7 operation and pedestrian links to Boulevard Retail Park.
