Zapgo opens ten-bay ultra-rapid charging hub in Barrow with 50p per kWh launch offer

National operator Zapgo has launched a ten-bay ultra-rapid EV charging station at Sowerby Wood Business Park in Barrow, including two accessible bays. The site is offering an introductory price of 50p per kWh from 14 to 28 September, compared to the RAC average of 83.55p per kWh for ultra-rapid charging. Maintenance will be handled by local firm JB Cleaning Services, for whom this is their first major commercial contract since launching in 2023.
