ZPEK launches FENIX energy network in Ukraine with own fuel, cafés and EV charging plans

By Eve

The ZPEK group of companies is launching the FENIX energy filling station network in Ukraine, with the first sites opening in September to October in western and central regions. The network will sell branded petrol and diesel, operate shops and cafés, and is studying the development of EV charging infrastructure. Operations director Serhiy Belykh told Korrespondent.net that the company is prioritising charging over liquefied gas due to changing demand patterns.

Why it matters: The rollout signals a Ukrainian fuel retailer integrating EV charging into new forecourt builds from the outset, offering procurement teams a potential multi service partner as the country's charging network expands. The September to October timeline provides a near term opportunity for charge point operators and equipment suppliers targeting the Ukrainian market.
