Oxfordshire councils award Connected Kerb and EZ-Charge contracts for 1500 public charging sockets by 2028

Oxfordshire County Council has signed contracts with Connected Kerb and EZ-Charge to deliver over 1500 new public charging sockets by 2028, more than doubling current provision across highways and council car parks. Connected Kerb will install on street chargers and units at park and ride sites, whilst Bicester based EZ-Charge will expand its existing Park and Charge role by deploying hubs in district and city council car parks. The network will focus on 7kW chargers with discounted overnight rates, plus a smaller number of 50kW and above rapid chargers in strategic locations, prioritising areas where residents lack off street parking.
