Pennsylvania launches 100 million dollar community EV charging programme with 80 per cent cost reimbursement

Pennsylvania is preparing to award 100 million dollars for community EV chargers in public places such as business and restaurant car parks, following the deployment of 29 operational chargers and 54 planned sites along major roads funded by the federal National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure programme. PennDOT is accepting applications first for southeastern Pennsylvania, with Western Pennsylvania opening this spring, and will reimburse up to 80 per cent of installation costs for any group registered to do business in the state.
