The report featured a journalist complaining about an 80 minute charging stop, comprising a 10 minute wait, 10 minutes to set up an app, and one hour of charging, despite having 46% battery remaining in a Polestar 2 with no actual need to charge. Critics noted the reporter chose to queue unnecessarily and charge to 100%, misrepresenting typical EV charging behaviour.
