Farizon publishes France brief for 2027 SV van, from 43,000 euros excluding VAT with about 380 km WLTP range

By Eve

On 27 October, Geely's electric commercial vehicle brand Farizon released a French presentation file for its 2027 model year SV. It lists the SV 2WD from 43,000 euros excluding VAT and the SV AWD from 50,500 euros excluding VAT, both as "from" prices. The quoted ranges are tied to different set-ups: 384 km WLTP combined for the L1H1 2WD with an 83.66 kWh battery, and 380 km for the L2H1 AWD with a 100.46 kWh battery. The article notes the document does not explicitly say the entry price matches the 384 km configuration.

Why it matters

Buyers and fleet operators should get the price, body size, battery and range pairing confirmed in writing before comparing quotes or planning depot charging. Differing battery capacities also change the energy each van needs per charge, which feeds into charger sizing and power planning.

Geely's Farizon steps up its electric van push in France with updated SV and plans for more outlets

At an event in Rungis on 27 October 2026, Farizon, the commercial vehicle division of Chinese group Geely, presented several new products after confirming its French arrival last spring. The headline item is the 2027 model year Farizon SV, a large electric van built on a platform designed specifically for electric drive, offering up to 13 m³ of load volume, a maximum payload of 1,290 kg and a loading threshold of 520 mm. It is positioned against the electric Renault Master, and the maker also plans to add more points of sale across France, according to the report.

Why it matters

A new electric van brand scaling up its French dealer network points to more fleet electrification demand, and fleet operators will need depot and destination charging to match. CPOs and installers serving last mile delivery and trades customers should watch how quickly Farizon's outlets multiply.

Camouflaged Toyota Corolla Cross, thought to be an EV, spotted on the road ahead of an expected 2027 debut

Electrek reports that a disguised prototype believed to be an electric Toyota Corolla Cross was seen driving near the automaker's European headquarters and research centre, with the images first published by China's Autohome. Electrek says the next Corolla generation will be the first to use Toyota's new multipathway platform, which is meant to support electric, hybrid, petrol and other powertrains, and that an electric version could have one or two motors and a range of at least 250 miles. Toyota has not confirmed battery or powertrain details or a US sales plan, while Nikkei reports production of the new generation is planned for 2028 through the FAW Toyota Motor joint venture in China.

Why it matters

A battery electric Corolla on a multipathway platform would put a very high volume nameplate into the EV market from around 2027, which could widen the base of mainstream drivers needing public and home charging. Details on battery size, charging speed and regional availability remain unconfirmed, so CPOs and procurement teams should treat any demand planning as provisional.

Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II for 2027 moves to NACS charging port in North America

Rolls-Royce has introduced the 2027 Spectre Series II, an update to the electric coupe first launched in 2022. According to EV Charging News Blog, it offers higher battery capacity, more driving range, faster charging and more power than the 2024 to 2026 model years, and North American cars switch from CCS1 to the NACS port. The input gives no specific figures for range, capacity or charging speed.

Why it matters

Another premium marque adopting NACS in North America adds to the shift away from CCS1, so CPOs and site developers should weigh native NACS connectors, or adapter support, in their charger specifications. Faster charging on ultra-premium vehicles also raises expectations for reliable high-power sites serving affluent drivers.
