Royal Mail trials Yutong TE7 electric HGV in Bradford as part of 2040 net zero strategy

Royal Mail has begun a six month trial of the Yutong TE7 electric heavy goods vehicle, operating from its Bradford South Delivery Office, in partnership with Pelican Electric Trucks. The 7.5 tonne vehicle features a 132kWh battery offering up to 180 miles of real world range and will assess eHGV suitability for middle mile fleet operations. Royal Mail has already deployed over 8,000 electric vans and eight eHGVs as part of its wider 2040 net zero strategy.
