Singapore opens 46-point commercial EV charging hub in Jurong

By Eve

Volt Singapore, Keppel's charging arm, launched a 46-charger public fast-charging facility at 2E Jalan Papan on 13 July, the country's largest hub for commercial electric vehicles. The site can charge electric buses from 20 per cent to 80 per cent in under two hours and offers up to 300 km of range in 10 minutes, priced at 59.8 cents per kilowatt-hour. The hub also serves electric cars and taxis.

Why it matters: The deployment marks a significant scaling step for heavy-duty EV infrastructure in Singapore, with 46 simultaneous connections targeting buses and trucks alongside light vehicles. Operators and fleet managers gain a benchmark for commercial charging economics and throughput in dense urban settings.
