SC01 electric sports car targets European market against Alpine and Porsche

China's SC01, a two-seat electric sports car producing 429 bhp and weighing 1,365 kg, is launching in Europe later this year. The all-wheel-drive model accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds and offers 311 miles of range from a 60 kWh battery under CLTC testing. Developed by Tianjin Gongjiangpai Auto Technology, JMEV and Xiaomi, the SC01 positions itself against the Alpine A110 EV and electric Porsche Boxster.
