New Hampshire charging site to close in October as electricity costs exceed revenue by more than double

Summer Fun Inc. will shut four Tesla Superchargers in Gorham, New Hampshire on 25 October after electricity bills reached over $32,500 against net revenue of almost $15,900 through mid August, despite charging 69 cents per kilowatt hour. The site, which opened in May, is the only Tesla Supercharger location north of the White Mountains and serves tourists travelling between Canada and the coast. The closure comes as New Hampshire prepares another round of public charging incentives, with the application deadline falling on 21 August.
