Range Rover Sport Electric to launch this year with 350 kW charging and over 300 miles of range
By Eve
Land Rover will introduce an electric version of the Range Rover Sport, one of its best-selling SUVs, later this year. Built on the same 800-volt architecture as the larger Range Rover EV, the Sport Electric will support charging speeds up to 350 kW and deliver over 300 miles of range. The model will compete in the premium electric SUV segment priced above $100,000, targeting rivals such as the Lucid Gravity.
Why it matters: The 350 kW charging capability signals growing demand for ultra-rapid infrastructure at premium destinations and fleet depots. High-end electric SUVs like the Range Rover Sport Electric will drive investment in 800-volt compatible charging networks to serve affluent early adopters.
