Volvo begins EX60 deliveries in Sweden, claiming 503 mile range and 10 minute top up

By Eve

Volvo has started customer deliveries of its EX60 midsize electric SUV in Sweden, with wider rollout planned in coming weeks. The model offers up to 503 miles WLTP range (400 miles EPA) and can add 211 miles in 10 minutes at 400 kW chargers, recharging from 10% to 80% in 16 minutes thanks to an 800 volt SPA3 platform. Three powertrain variants are available: P12 AWD, P10 AWD and rear wheel drive P6.

Why it matters: The 400 kW charging capability and 16 minute 10% to 80% recharge time will inform infrastructure planning for CPOs targeting premium EV segments. The 503 mile WLTP range may reduce dwell time requirements at destination charging sites compared to shorter range models.
