Xpeng's exclusive Australian distributor True EV enters external administration amid dispute

TrueEV Distribution, the Sydney based exclusive importer and retailer for Chinese EV maker Xpeng in Australia since 2024, has been placed into external administration with Daniel Juratowitch and Barry Wight of Cor Cordis appointed. The move follows a dispute between the parties and affects 197 vehicles across Melbourne, Brisbane, Wollongong and Fremantle. Xpeng has sold 135 G6 electric SUVs in Australia so far this year and an estimated 2,100 in 2025.
