Jaipur-based ultra-fast charging network ChargeJet has launched an app-free charging feature that lets EV drivers scan a QR code on the charger, pay via UPI or digital wallet, and start a session without downloading software or topping up a prepaid account. The company says the move addresses barriers that discourage first-time users, who traditionally must register, verify identity and preload funds before their first charge. ChargeJet cites India's widespread QR payment adoption as the technical foundation for the rollout.
