Fresh data dated 23 August 2026 shows Portugal's public EV charging network comprised 8,296 stations, of which 6,128 were fully operational and 341 were out of service. EDP affiliated operators accounted for 1,644 stations, representing 5.3 per cent of the network. The dataset also revealed that 5,359 of 20,708 charging points, or 25.9 per cent of individual sockets, had no reported status, highlighting transparency gaps as infrastructure expands.
