Tata Power and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. (TATA.ev) have reported that their co-branded Mega Charger network has exceeded 70,000 charging sessions since deployment. The 10 hubs, located across Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, operate 25 fast chargers with 56 charging guns and a combined capacity of 2.7 MW, with individual hub capacities ranging from 180 kW to 600 kW. The network has delivered over 85,000 hours of charging, supported more than 75 lakh electric kilometres and helped avoid an estimated 6,690 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.

Why it matters: The milestone demonstrates the operational scale achievable by co-branded charging networks in India and provides procurement teams with performance benchmarks for high capacity hub deployments. The geographic spread across intercity corridors and urban centres offers a model for CPOs planning multi-state fast charging rollouts.
