ThunderPlus installs Hyderabad's first public EV charging station at AIG Hospital campus
ThunderPlus has installed Hyderabad's first public EV charging facility within a hospital campus at AIG Hospital, Gachibowli. The facility features a 60 kW DC fast charger and a 7.4 kW AC charger, with the DC unit enabling charging in approximately 30 to 45 minutes. The station is accessible to hospital staff, visitors and the general public.
Why it matters
The installation demonstrates a new site category for charging infrastructure deployment, targeting healthcare campuses where users spend extended periods. For CPOs and site hosts, hospitals represent high dwell time locations with captive audiences of staff and visitors, potentially offering strong utilisation rates for charging assets.
