Public charging operator EVgo will deploy more than 500 DC fast charging stalls at 90 shopping centres managed by Brixmor Property Group, with each site receiving up to 12 high power chargers. The rollout, announced in August 2026, will cover locations in Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Texas, bringing EVgo chargers to around 25% of Brixmor's portfolio. EVgo currently operates over 1,200 DC fast charging stations across 47 states.
