GM launches OnStar AI Assistant in 2027 Cadillac Lyriq with charging route planning
General Motors is introducing an AI powered voice assistant in its vehicles, starting with the 2027 Cadillac Lyriq electric SUV via over the air software update in the coming months. The OnStar AI Assistant allows drivers to use natural voice commands to control vehicle functions, plan charging stops and query error messages, with the 2027 GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado to follow. GM CEO Mary Barra announced the feature at the GM Forward event in New York on Wednesday.
