Essent acquires former BP Pulse fast-charging network in the Netherlands
E.ON Drive Infrastructure has taken over BP Pulse's former fast-charging network in the Netherlands, comprising 79 locations with 370 charging points, which will now operate under the Essent brand in partnership with E.ON Drive. Many sites are located at OK petrol stations along busy transport routes, and the network uses Alpitronic fast chargers with speeds up to 300 kW, enabling 80 per cent charge in 20 minutes depending on vehicle model. Essent states the acquisition immediately makes it one of the largest public fast-charging providers in the Netherlands.
