Exicom has begun manufacturing liquid-cooled AC and DC power modules at its Hyderabad Smart Manufacturing Facility, claiming to be the first in India to produce this class of power electronics for global markets. The initial modules will supply Tritium's DC charger portfolio, including TRI-FLEX and DC-FLEX models, primarily for North America and Europe, with later phases targeting Indian charge point operators, fleets and OEMs. Exicom estimates that nearly 60% of power electronics failures stem from thermal stress, and notes that liquid cooling can keep internal temperatures roughly 10°C lower than air-cooled systems.
